Drive-by-shooting: Lenso Eagle Alloys

31 Jan

Part of my daily work involves photographing various products for the Autostyle.co.za website.  This gives me access to thousands of automotive accessories, occasionally I try to take a few creative shots, like this one.

The Lenso Eagle alloy wheel has somewhat of a cult like status with automotive enthusiasts, its been in production for nearly a decade and always in demand. Heres a little close-up shot of the spokes, wheel dish and some selective coloring and dodging.

Drive-By-Shooting: Porsche Cayman

Did an unplanned little shoot of a Porsche Cayman S,  black vehicles are really difficult to shoot properly. From lighting, shadows, exposure and all sorts of things. Luckily Photoshop came in to rescue some of the pictures. Below are 5 of the better ones.

Honda Revcounter

Going back to some automotive concepts, today’s daily photo is a long exposure shot of a tachometer & needle revving up.  I was hoping to get this Honda all the way to the red-line but alas, they dont make the 1.5l Honda’s like they used and all we could get was to 4500rpm.

I’m happy to say that, apart from a crop, absolutely zero photo editing or color adjustments were done.
Exif data : F9.9 at 4seconds on ISO 100 with a 135mm focal length.
