After a 13hour flight from China, I received  a pleasant surprise from Alexa.com’s website ranking service.

As of today, Autostyle.co.za has a worldwide ranking of 39 284.  To some it may seem to be a high figure, but looking at the sheer volume of websites around the world, I think to be in the top 40k is a good achievement.  I’v only took an interest in Alexa a few years ago and we’v slowly climbed from the top 100 000 to the present top 40 000.

To put things in perspective, in our industry, our ranking vs our colleagues & competitors

cartoday.com – 58 839

That said, Alexa.com are far from perfect and accurate, though I find it usefull to judge a websites popularity and longevity.
